We are spending a few weeks in this area checking it out.

We are staying at the VFW Post
$15 for water & power (15amp)
$5 to dry camp.
The place is fenced all the way around.

Looks like our kind of trail !!Yes it does..

We checked out a route ( made sure the gate wasn't locked) yesterday on our way to Bullhead City.
We can cross the 68 at Golden Valley, come down a good trail by the power line, cross 68 through the gate and go up Sleeping Princess..

Back in Chloride again this year

Found another (4) mines, The paperwork we found says it ran up untill 2000, but a Google search said as late as possibly 2013.

My understanding they only keep a select few in Oatman nowadays.
We happened upon 3 different herds going back to Chloride
At least 10 in each heard
