Well I got to say The guys and gals at Rugged Radio sure stand by there product when something goes wrong.
My intercom needed a complete new front panel 100% Warranted [emoji1417] and my 60 Watt Radio also needed a complete new front panel, this wasn’t covered by warranty cause water got in it though the external mic port, they replaced the panel for $45 bucks, for everything with free shipping [emoji1417] sure is nice to deal with a company that goes the extra mile. I have always had a positive experience with those folks. FYI They do make an plug for the external mic port to prevent crud and water from infiltration.

Yeah they put one on, and they also put dielectric grease in those holes and told me not to plug in the mic, which I have no reason to do. [emoji1417]

So far I have been lucky and had no problems with my radios . I do have there water proofing kits that plug all the ports that aren't being used and cover the radio when I wash my rzr's !!

Thanks Mike. That is good information. I especially like the large illustrations. Good for my old eyes and short attention span.
