What are the helmets everyone is using with the rugged radio headsets and why? Do the helmet kits work as good as a headset?

Rugged Radio sells a half helmet that works with the headsets, that’s what I used until I got my pumper kit, now I use there Bell helmet that has there helmet kit installed into it.

Are you happy with the helmet kit. Can you hear as well as the headset over the engine noise?

From talking to a few that have the 60watt they are not happy that were at Cinco..
They were saying we LBR and I had better coverage with out 50 watt radio's.

Hopefully others will chime in

In my opinion I wouldn't go with a 25 watt !! I have a 60 watt in one of my rzr's and a 50 watt in the other , have been told from others that they can hear me better with the 50 watt !!

Yes I like it better really as far as the headset not pushing against my ears all day, putting the helmets on takes a little more time, but if you go with the pumper kit it’s way worth it to me, no more dust in my nose, eyes and mouth. Makes riding behind someone not that big of deal. [emoji1417]
