What axles is everyone using ? Or should I ask what axles hold up ?

I run SuperATV Rhinos on the front of my 1k with no problems. Stronger than stock but won't strain your diff as bad as other brands.

What would make them have less strain on the diff ?

How many miles do you have on it with these axles ?

May be it's just me but I don't see any reason for aftermarket axles . I have over 18,000 miles of riding my SXS's and (knock on would) have never had a axle problem , not even a boot. I guess I'm just easy on my ride's or just lucky !

I have 65 hours on my rzr. Most of them on 33's and in the rocks with no axle failures.

ED I went with these shafts because I broke a stock shaft second trip out. Maybe bad luck idk but I wasn't willing to find out the hard way again. My driving style to most is extreme and I'm ok with that :)

We were on a ride 2 months ago with a big group. (6) XP 1000 axles broke! (5) rears and (1) front. Unfortunately, I didn't bring any extras for people. :-(

For XP 1000s, Titans from S3 are our best value. Turner Cycles are our most reliable and strongest if you have the budget.

I have always felt that the high hp heavy machines like xp 1000 prolly may break stock axles

Than if you move up to Turners or some other stronger, heavy duty brand

Than what will break or be the weak link?

Prolly something more expensive and more difficult, than just axles would be my guess

May-be just have a spare axle or two around for the weak link

I see you line of thought but one thing to consider is when a stock axle breaks it sends a shock load on everything it is in contact with. If your breaking multiple stock axles then you really should step up to something that may never break. I will say this, the gears and drive lines are pretty stout. I have 33's and 300+ hp w/o failures

Hmmm
You guys are going to laugh, but I am now pushing 400 horsepower out of my 800 s with my apex turbo motor and I'm still on the stock axles......

I'm sure if I was on the street and got the car to hook it would twist them up in a pretzel.

As for the stock 1000 axles those things look pretty beefy

What tires do you run? What type of terrain?

I'm 300+ horsepower combined with the 33's (75lbs ea) it's a bad combo for axles, ball joints and steering lol

I run strictly sand and my tire and wheel combo is considerably lighter than what you run..

I'm sure if I ran a 150 pounds of rolling mass on the back of my car my axles would be short lived lol
