Event Near Shasta Dam, CA, in May?

Greetings, All!
An official at the local (Redding, CA) BLM office said that there is sometimes a group from here that has an event at the Shasta/Chappie OHV RA on the west side of Shasta Dam, usually around the 5th of May ... I haven't seen any discussion about one this year, here (yet), and am wondering if something is being planned? I am planning a non-related event for the campgrounds, and I'd like to avoid any conflict! You can reply here, or you can e-mail me at gnkwhipp at jett dot net
