Camping and Riding in Eastern Oregon

Its that time of year for the Horn Dogs to plan their annual Camp/Ride trip. I was thinking about Eastern Oregon. Does anyone have a suggestion where we can camp and ride? We like to dry camp and ride from the toy haulers and we really like riding from the RV Park like we do in Idaho.

I appreciate your thoughts.

Have you considered Sumpter? We’ve stayed at the Gold Rush RV Park & ride all over from there. Lots of trails & beautiful scenery.

Not quite eastern but be sure to check out Central Oregon SXS on FB or online. They have thousands of miles of trails mapped out, ready to down load on your tablet. Plus lots of where to ride and to camp info..

I might be interested, when where you thinking of doing this. Late summer fire restrictions are high in Oregon. Or have been the last couple of years.
