We have a new toy hauler and in order to get everything in - I'll need to narrow down my suspension. I only need to gain back about 3 inches at most. I've heard that you can do this with a ratchet straps on the A-arms, but wanted to see if anyone has done this and if there is any long term harm?

I don't think it could damage anything , I know people have done it to fit the XP900 in to the back of a truck.

I don't see where it would cause any problems .

If that doesn't work out well for you, I've seen a guy put those tiny little donut spare tires on his RZR while transporting. But that seems like a big pain to swap 4 wheels when you get where you're going.

I don't see any problem with using a strap to compress the front end.

I saw a pic with 4 super low profile profile plywood wheels cut and drilled to get a rzr into his TH. I wondered how he climbed up the ramp with them....even in 4x4 one would think they would spinout from lack of traction.

I don't see any problem with using a strap to compress the front end.

Seen it done before with no problems

Cool....is it because of the last foot or 2 to roll in, or more? Cabinet or wheelwell issues?
