Boca Rest - August 15 - 19

I know it’s kind of late, but thought I’d let everyone know my family and I will be up there this coming week Aug 15 - 19. There will be 6 of us in site 24. This will be our first time at Boca so any suggestions for trails or areas will be welcome. I saw a thread on here with pics of a crystal mine and a Mexican food place....managed to set a waypoint for the crystal mine, but I can’t find the restaurant!

Restaurant is in Sierraville, you can take Lemon Canyon rd from Bear valley Campground it’s marked 650 , or you can go to Bordertown Hwy 395. Lots of places to explore up there just map it out.
PS the trail from Boca to Dog Valley area has a road close sign , it’s not closed there was a wash out awhile ago but there a way around it now. Have fun. [emoji1417]

I’m sure someone here can send you a map with tracks from the last ride. I didn’t have mine setup at that time.

If it isn’t to smoky the look out at Verdi peak has some nice views. Ride right out from boca rest campground and explore around there are many trails out there.

I'd love to see the map of routes people are doing in that area! One of my favorite rides is Sierraville to Bordertown... lunch and gas at the little casino... and rip back.
