I hurts to pay for something you never know if you gonna use like insurances all kinds. But sometimes when it's too late, you wished youhad like me.IDK. 50/50 split, jury is out on this one lmao! Good luck either way.
I had one on my XP 900 and used a lot but I'm not sure if about getting one on the XP 1000 .

Its just a bet Barb
You are betting-em your stuff is going to eff-up and they are taking your bet that it will not
The odds are always stacked for the house
I would not get it with Lance around to repair what-ever

Have to do some research, I know they have changed what they cover..a lot of what popo guys bought for the 900's are not the same for the 1000's and are not covered.
Since this is the 1st year for the turbo Mavericks I'm thinking about the purchase, although I have over a 1000 miles with no issues..

Since it ain't a po-po You really do not need it
plus with 1k on it, if it was to break it prolly would have by now
This is just my take
I was wrong once before

Extended warranties have a huge mark-up. When I bought my used 900 from Red Bluff, Robert sold me 2 years worth of extended warranty at his cost: $300!!

I'm sorry but I think the extended warranties are a waste of money.

So is insurance.......... as long as you never need it!Its still all just a bet Barry
I have been betting every-year for the last 30 years or so that my home will catch fire. flood, fall down, break, car or truck drive though it
Or what-ever my go wrong
I have never once collected on all those many Bets I have placed over the years
It is what most that are in the gaming business call a Sucker-Bet
Like I have said many times over and over
The odds are always stacked for the house
I know that, you know that, every-one knows that

If you plan on leaving your machine virtually stock, then yes the extended warranty is peace of mind. I hear stories of them turning down claims due to simply changing the tires and will only cover factory available equipment. If Can Am has performance accessories available and you add then to your machine, then those would be covered. But if you use a product not sold by them, they can deny your claim based on that. There is also a huge mark up on the extended warranty... but if you need 3k in repairs and you paid $1200 for the ext. Warranty. . You win.
