Riding somewhere either 12/9 or 12/10

Anyone interested in a ride next weekend?

Not sure where yet, thinking Lockwood area head towards VC, or go up north of pyramid lake towards black rock, or maybe ride from moon rocks towards Doyle, Ca, or even go to taylorsville, had my first RZR ride there and we found 2 cabins and an old mine.

But really I’m up for anywhere within reason.

We will most likely go. Also, let me know if you want to go to the Nightingale Range this time. It could be from 40 to 70 miles, depending on which way you go. There are a lot of cool mines.

I want to ride... so I"ll call it...I plan to take my trailer out to Moon rocks the 8th 9th as long as the weather holds out and can clear the pass with out chaining up. but just to be safe I also booked a room at the nugget but prefer to use my trailer. A day trip to Nevada makes for too long of a day for me. What do you guys think will moon rocks work? I made a call and peeps are still camping and riding out there.

The Nugget just remodeled the rooms and not bad pricing if you split it with someone.. I made res out there for next weekend for me and a friend to ride somewhere in the area. don't care where... if theres a place to park the trailer I can do that instead.

Next weekend, as in 12/16-17, Alan? We haven't been camping since early September! I'd love to camp/ride with you if I can convince Patti to take our broken dog!! I'll be leaving for Colorado next week, expecting to be home about 12/13. Keep me in the loop. Thanks!!

Yeah that would help, lol, sounds like Lockwood to VC would be a good ride, if weather is good I would probably stay in Reno also.

Saturday 9th, Lockwood at 9.
From what I see weather should be nice, no rain about 50.

Head east on I80 take a right off the freeway on Lockwood off ramp, follow Canyon Way for about 3 miles, there is parking on both sides of the road in dirt lots.

Yes, we could all meet there and then drive down to the trailhead. That way people can get snacks and drinks for the day, I don’t believe there is any gas there though so fill up before hand.

Ron, you've been down it from the Johnson Lane side. It's changed a lot since the heavy rains last year.
