Lainracing and I are going to ride Dark Canyon, and try to get up to the top of Babbit peak, going to be cold, and I’m sure snow on the peaks, going to start at Jackson Meadows turn off on Hwy 89, About 20 miles north of Truckee, staging is pavement with restrooms.

That’s to bad Barry, this is part of the ride we did on Saturday last time we were up there, this time going to go over up and over the other ridge [emoji1417] have fun in Idaho, be safe out there.

We camp/fish at Jackson Meadows a lot!! I think that will be a great ride.

I'm sure we'll have a good time in Idaho. We've hunted with this outfitter several times before.

this would be a good try out run for my new truck and toy up deck... I have launched from there to go west up to the lakes but not the other way across the highway ... a little snow on the ground and that place is a blast... My Maverick goes into a cardiac arrest after a hard run so I'm hoping the dealer can figure that issue out.. if so count me in on this day run.

It’s not to bad, we all stick together, haven’t lost anybody yet Lol, if there’s to much snow on the upper peaks, there is plenty of lower Jeep trails to explore out. Hope to see you out there. [emoji1417]

Thanks.. I have had my Honda Pioneer 1000-5 since March. We have been to Sand Mountain twice, Oregon dunes for a week, Cisco Grove, and around Prosser/Boca. We are loving this. Just dont want to venture out onto the trails by myself and end up on the evening news.. I had bikes and quads as a teen, but that was many moons ago. See ya Saturday guys.

hopefully it won't rain. The key up there when its near freezing is to just stay dry...I found layer with non cotton breathable items and a gore tex shell or similar. you can weather out the unexpected up there and stay comfortable.

I think you would like it Ed, hopefully we will be able to do all trails I have GPS out, this is probably the last ride up there till spring, maybe we could do it again after March Madness.
Are you doing a Fenders ride soon? After Thanksgiving ride? I would like to get back up there and ride soon. [emoji1417]

Sorry guys... looks like it will be another hassle to get my Maverick fixed and back from the dealer. I new better than to think I would get it back and fixed in a timely fashion. i thought I would utilize some of the waisted money on the extended warranty. I always have to go behind them refastening panels or dealing with the damage from the animal that worked on it... anyway I'm out for this weekend.

I really want to get up there one of these days !! I was thinking about do a Fenders Ferry ride this weekend but you guys got this ride going while I was "thinking" LOL
