So I changed out an old gates belt that threw the codes for misfire and made me go into limp mood, last time it did this the belt blew apart a mile later so this time I changed it for a new gates went out today and I would be going fine let off the gas and it would like bog down even back fired a few times but if I got on the gas again everything was fine, then I would be going get up to about 45 and it would not going any faster almost like it was slipping?
Not sure what it could be, any ideas?
I will be ordering a factory belt maybe the gates aren't good like I heard.

That's where I would start Scott, also maybe Polaris has an upgraded belt, hopefully it's that easy. [emoji1417]

I've seen good and bad reviews regarding Gates belts that's why I never give an opinion on them .
Get a factory Polaris belt disconnect your battery for 10 minutes to clear the codes and then hook it back up and go for another test drive, post results afterwards

Another thing to check are the 3 rollers in the primary clutch that the 3 arms ride on, when they get flat-spotted the arm will hang up and hold the clutch open and not work correctly

I don't have any codes right now, I'll check the rollers when I swap out the belt this week and post up what I find.
Thanks for the input!
