Best trail app

My wife wants to know what the best trail app is. We have the polaris trail app. I think she just wants to know what everybody is using. Thanks

I use Backcountry Navigator on a 7" Google Nexus 7 Android Tablet & Use BobT's Maps for Hatfield McCoy/ Wv Trails

Looking for feedback on trails apps for iPad

I prefer Scenic Map app. I use it for all the west US trails. No downloading, importing or exporting files. It's all there just like a GPS. It keeps track and records all my trips and I can replay them anytime. It can also be run in 3D. I can plan a complex 100 mile route in about 5 minutes. It works with IPad, IPhone or IPod touch.
