I was thinking more for a March Madness experience
There a few from SoCal that would love to join us in March
We need a few days just to drive by common vehicle to Oatman, Kingman and a few other places

We are at Pirate Cove now. We had a good ride today, but we came across a lot of areas posted as Widerness Areas. We did about an 80 mile ride today and the riding is good. The campground is nice and the river just outside of the camper is great. With that said we'll probably just go the extra 30 miles or so in the future and ride at Havasu. The greenies have gotten their tentacles into this area and it was actually amusing this morning to see the difference between CA and Arizona.

We watched from camp this morning and just across the river in Arizona about 1/4 mile there was a helicopter that was driving wild pigs towards the river which was an obvious dead end. There was a thinning of the wild pig population going on and there was intense shooting going on over there. It lasted about an hour. I don't know if they were shooting from the helicopter of just driving them to hunters on the ground but there were many rounds going off in bursts. The helicopter worked the area at about 100 feet AGL or less the entire time.

Fast forward to our ride on the CA side... Having been respectful of coming up on a Wilderness area and turning back we stumbled on to a dirt road in an open area with orange cones and tape making it look like a cop show on TV. There was a water company pickup waiting at the signs near the cones and crime scene tape in the middle of nowhere just sitting and waiting like an obedient subject. The sign said to wait for "Tortoise training and an escort." No kidding!
Again, it's a good time being here, a nice camping experience, and good riding. Freedom is 30 miles down the road though and our group was noticing it today. Like I said..... It's worth the extra 30 miles. With that said I'm already looking forward to tomorrow's ride.

We had another ride today covering about 80 miles give or take. We went to the Coffee Mine and we are learning to our way around the Wilderness areas. The highlight of the day for me was what rode like a virgin sand wash that lasted about 15 miles. The growth on each side left room for our RZR's and not much else. A quick flick of the wheel to miss a bush to either side and never getting out of it. There was no washboarding and we were hauling butt thru it. It was like a slot car course with twists but rode fast. Loved it..... Can't wait for tomorrow. Not to worry if you are coming here, lots of ground to cover.

Here are a couple of pics from the other day. Today I forgot my phone and and didn't take any pics, but we had a great ride to Havasu City, CA. By far this was the best ride we've had on this trip. We covered about 95 miles in all, with a little bit of differing terrains. We got into some areas with green grass and wildflowers blooming. It was great. I'll try and post some with ourvRZR's tomorrow. For some reason I'm struggling tonight.

Wildhorse, what point are you on? We are on 14, black beaver motorhome. Would love to meet you guys and find out where that wash is at. I need to get a map, store opens at 9.

We are headed up to the car and boat show today at Jack Smith Park, supposed to be a big deal if your into boats at all.
