What tire air pressure do most of you run in the desert ?

I think it's going to depend on the tires you have. I have bighorns a run between 8-9 .

I have Bighorns, but also M21 bead lock wheels. I run anywhere from 6-8 dependent on terrain.

I like to run mine at about 10lbs. Feels more stable to me.

With desert conditions your more likely to be traveling at greater speed then say mud or woods type of riding and higher air pressures will reduce the risk of bread loss and any potential debris damage. I think most factory tires are recommended 12-14 psi. I would probably run 10 or more to reduce risks and add stability for higher speeds & control.

I've played around a little bit and have gone from 8 to 14 on 15x30 mongrels and like trukinrzr I prefer around 12 for high speed stability. I have cut a sidewall at 14 but don't know if that would have happened anyway. Great grip on the rocks as well at that pressure.
