Pros.. It's nice and quiet. Cons ... You can't hear your machine when you got something going on with it

Awesome thank you everyone! I was thinking of not being able to hear if something is wrong with my rzr but I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out. I went with a rugged radio intercom and headsets but will be getting hamlet kits for winter riding

Where did you end up putting it in your rig

Scott, Rugged Radios makes a cool mount that puts it in the dash where the phone box is. Really sturdy and easy to installhttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160909/872a602c2a36e594017672ac23fcc1f1.jpg
And I mounted the headset jacks on the crossbar between the seatshttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160909/63f9f7cf0f92fde9c574176fef9049ba.jpg

I'm still using my handheld for the radio right now until I get more funds, when I got the handheld I bought the car2car so it came with all the cords to work with an intercom but once I get in the car radio I think I'll go for that mount, looks nice and stock in there.
Did you have to buy that Jack plug hook or did it come with your intercom?

The jacks come with the intercom, the roll bar mount was like 35.00. I have learned that you can haggle with them on the price on things and they will work with you. If you get the blue tooth, make sure you put a power switch on it.

Just turn up the VOX to where it doesn't pick her up and just nod when her lips move... Lol I don't know about the helmets but the Headsets, you can't hear anything other than what's transmitted.

Got it all installed and tested, now just need to go for a ride to see how I like it!
I wasn't to sure about the PTT so I will be messing with that on my first ride out I'm sure.
Where is a good place for it?

I have my button on the steering wheel and like it there !! For the Jacks I used 1/2" pipe clamps and just screw them to the rear panel !!

Ok so now I'm looking into getting the radio, it's asking about frequency, which one do I go with? I don't know the difference in them

When I was on there they had the uhf or vhf, I was looking at the vx2200, that's the one that fits in the mount for the xp 1000 I believe

Yup vx2200 vhf
Make sure that you get the jumper from the radio to the intercom. I'm pretty sure that they're different than the ones for the 5 watt
