I think our biggest conflict is with the Redding Dirt riders grand prix . I looked on there site and they don't have a date set for it yet but they have had it the last two years on the second weekend of April and we have had our ride on the last weekend of April our the first weekend of May !!

Hi Joe ,

For this event we stay in the Chappie OHV area which is located below the West side of the Shasta Dam . The campsites are National Forrest camp site with no hook ups first come first serve. Each year the camp sites fill up and there is an over flow area to camp in . The cost is $10 per night . Below is a link with more about Chappie .

I'm not sure how many grandkids I will have with me, so I think I want to stay a little closer to camp. If they really did an inspection it wouldn't be so bad , but to make you open all the doors , hood , stand back and they walk around so fast with the mirror they couldn't possibly see anything !!
