anybody have any day trips planned in the near future? Really want to get out, haven't been out in a while. I'm in the bay area, but willing to drive a couple hours for a day trip.

I'm getting ready for the Bridgeport ride right now, but if it's not to Hot next month I was thinking of doing a day trip at Indian Valley Reservoir, it's off HWY 20 about 30 miles from I-5

I could go for some day trips, I think I have less than 40 miles on the new rzr and have had it a month, can't go camping for a while since I'm using the toy box for work so day trips are all I can do for now

Would love to, been there before and would like to go again but we bought another house in Springville and will be moving that weekend. I'm working in Redding all summer and have the rzr up here with me so I'm good for day trips most weekends

I'm in the bay area, but open for day trips within a couple hour drive from the bay. Haven't had anybody to go out with lately and really want to get out and ride.

We tried it to early last time all of the snow should be gone. Maybe we need a list for this I don't know where I'm going ride we can have more people to get lost with.

Yes we will start from Burney
As for camping they have full at the casino but i don't know how much. Dry camp there is a good spot about a mile past the staging area we will go ride by it on the way out.
Name of the staging area is the is the end of the road past high school or marker 3 on the same road. First big intersection and turn left big flat spot. We call it the tanks race track there a track just around the corner from there.
Or Burney falls park but that's about 20 miles from the staging area.

No it's on hwy 44 between old station and viola there is a rest area about 6 miles from old station give or take a mile or two the road in to twin bridges is about 30' south of the parking lot. It is a riding area lots camping wright next to hat creek all dry camping but it's a nice spot.

With a 42' hauler we should put down at the track if you don't mind going down about a mile on the dirt we can all stage there. Give me a call when you get to town and i can take you out there. It's only about 3 miles out of town.

If you don't want to break it all down and move we can run out to the track or if your coming in late at night you have the casino parking lot Safeway, the high school lot. We usually stage along the side of the road down from the high school. There is a spot that it might fit where we stage. I can go take pictures of the spots and send them to you if you want. Its a small town not much here. You can motel camp to we do have 4 small ones.

Directions.....
Coming in from the west
Turn right at the 2nd stop light at the USA gas station go down the road to just below the water tank park on the side of the road.
Coming from the east turn left at first stop light by the USA gas station and go down to just below the water tank. This will be all dirt roads and a lot of looking
around.

Yes mountain view rd. about a mile and a half down it to the city water tank stage along the side of the road. Second stop light and turn right coming up from Redding. USA GAS station on the corner. We only have 2 stop lights the big city
