Yeah, but for the first couple of boat lengths, I can actually stay right with him!
You have to love the Delta to enjoy it there !! I'm not a fan !! We went for a ride on the the Delta with about 50 other boats. The fisrt picture is a picture of my boat when we parked and the second one is 45 Min later after the tide went down some .
.
Where is this Delta at? Am assuming it is on the Sacramento River someplace?

It starts in Sacramento and runs out to the SF Bay . We were down by Bentwood / Discovery Point area .
I'll check that out on maps. ...was curious.

It actually "starts" in both Sacramento and Stockton. It is the large, nearly flat area where the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers meander and meet with a myriad of sloughs and canals between them as they go into San Francisco Bay.

Where were you docked at Ed?
In this Pic?
Any-way 750 HP could blend that up pretty good

Union Point Bar and Grill . It blend this ok but ended up sucking seaweed up , overheating the motor and blowing a head gasket .

That sucks Ed. Lots of sand bars to get stuck on too.

Yes it does !! If there was a good part to the whole this is that it happen pulling into the last stop before heading back and there was launch ramp 1/2 mile away. That way I was able to take a cab back to my truck and come back and get the boat instead of having to tow it the 60 miles back in the water.
Ed, I've been out there in my neighbors Eliminator but never dealt with that stuff. I know it's been a real big problem the last few years. The Stockton port was pretty messed up for awhile.
