Yep it time to Hit the Volcano

I will be Hosting this Great Ride

I have many years of riding the Volcano

There is Great Camping There and You can ride Your Rig right from the Free Campground

The Campground is at 5500' Elevation with lots of shade

When its hot in the Valley its just Right at The Volcano

There will still be Snow there for us all to Ride in Yippie:cool:

Will post Google Map linky to Campground

The ride will be 90-100 miles in some of the most scenic forest around

For the folks that wanna stick around on Saturday

I will Slow Smoke prolly the best Prime-Rib you have ever tasted

Will party and have Live Entertainment for all to enjoy at our park>>>Bring your singing voice along

I do have one space open that is 90 foot long by 50 foot wide

So that could take whatever you may have or a few of-em

I'm on the list in Reno for the recall. But I've decided that I'm going to drive it anyway. For them to ask us to not ride our rzr s till they fix them and then take months to fix it is just ludicrous. And it's right at the beginning of the riding season. Sorry don't mean to rant.

They told me if you run it after you get the recall letter and it burns up it's on you not them because you have been told not to use it. So I don't want to keep making payments on a pile of crispy junk. I haven't had any problems with mine and i have about 1800 miles on it.

Its a real long shot the chances of RZR burning to the ground about 10,000 to 1 whops

or should I say 1 in 10,000

Now all the ones catching fire and not burning to the ground odds are prolly a-lot higher

Any-way plan on doing some pre-riding around the Volcano, if any-wants to join me that would be awesome

Can pre-ride in June on 1st-3rd or 15th-18th

However in the Town of Mccloud is RV park with hook ups

Or you are more than welcome to camp at our park

My eye doctor called yesterday and they want to do my cataract surgery on the 16th and they want to do the other one a week later. So if we can go before the 16th would be great if not I will make the ride I hope.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make this trip due to work constraints. I was really looking forward to it. I will placing our offline cryogenic oxygen plant online starting the 28th. It's a 72 hour process. I was asked to be within a 2 hour drive should any problems arise. Be safe and have fun.

Yep Great Pre-Ride

Thanks for being my wing-man Ed

Never been on a ride with such a variety of weather

Rain, Hale, Snow, Sunshine, and Even found some dry stuff with plenty of Dust

We Rode 50 Miles

Would have been more, but main rode going to the East and North side of the Volcano is washed totally out at Mud-Creek Crossing

That really sucked, cause there is a-lot of great riding that way

We where only able to ride the south side of the Volcano

May have to change my plans on where to Stage at now

Would like to stage East of the Volcano to have access to the East and North face

We can stage and camp at the snowmobile park on pilgrim rd will have more access from there I believe

Will do some-more pre-riding just to make sure its all way-good

Will post up-date as the time comes as where to camp and stage at

This is what Mud Creek use to look like a few years back after wash-out

It was cross able, cause of all the sand

Well this last winter storm washed all the sand away and mad it so SxS can no longer cross it
