We will be heading into the Rubicon Friday night at 8:00pm. Camping 1 mile in, just before Gatekeeper. Those that want to come in Saturday morning I can meet you at the parking area at 8:30am and lead you in. Camping at Bucks lake Saturday night. You bet! We can help with a few suspension adjustments. But your experience in your land cruiser will be a plus. You'll find it was easier in a SXS!

I will be coming in on Saturday morning, hoping to be at trail head by 8, how should I set up my xp1000 suspension would like to have it all ready before I get to the trail

Here's the setup that worked best for us after our 3rd run through.
-tighten up your preload raising your RZR 5-6"
-disconnect sway bar and zip tie it up out of the way.
-tighten your compression on all shocks. All the way hard/stuff.
And your good to go[emoji1360]

I drive a stock 800 S anywhere there no problem, the trail is not what it used to be its a blast but a big group will be a PIA

I've done the trail many times in a 4x4 and never needed extra fuel. Should I consider carrying extra fuel for my 900xp? I had to bum fuel @ the Shasta Chappie 100+ mile ride so I figured I better check.

Last time we went, I used 3 bars out of 8 on my fuel gauge for the whole weekend. I definitely won't be bringing any extra.

I have never been in on the Loon Side, coming from Reno it looks like going into Carson and around Tahoe on highway 50 is 30 minutes faster, but would it be easier to go in off i80 into auburn? Or if we can meet up somewhere maybe and caravan to the trail?

Auburn is a long way out of your way Scott, 50 to Ice house rd, is the best

**RUBICON SET UP**
This is how I set up our RZR up for the Rocks. This being my 4th trip through the Con with a 4-seat RZR. It works very well.

1- Pull/ disconnect ALL Sway Bars

2- Adjust Preload (lower upper spring collar) to raise RZR. I adjusted front shocks down 2.25" and Rear down 2.75" http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160605/d28f757f290133cce400dadcd5ef7e1e.jpg
This raised the RZR 4.5" in the front & 4" in the rear

3- Pull all Fenders (many times they will catch on the bottom and rip the mounts out)

4- Tighten up your Compression on your shocks to ALL the way hard (to the right) This helps big time when your tire goes over a large rock the RZR won't drop down fast after you go over it.

***Directions to the trailhead / Staging area***
Start the Rubicon at Loon Lake, Take the Ice House Road \Crystal Basin exit off Hwy 50 about 20 miles east of Placerville. Follow Icehouse Road for approximately 28 miles until you hit the Loon Lake road which goes to the right. Follow it about another 4 miles until you cross the second Loon Lake dam, which puts you at what is called the spillway. You are now at the start of the Rubicon. See you there[emoji1360]

CHbeer ran it is his 50" last weekend. 2" lift I believe and does have 28" tires. Got around no problem took the lines all of us did it seemed
