LOL last time I was there was about 1993 ? So I'm sure its all different now? Apparently you have to pay now ? Oh the good ol days ...
If someone would show up that knows the area we're all for venturing out more !

Since I haven't been in many years is there any particular spot/area to try and get/ park or just show up and set up ??
Will be in a small 24 ft class C MH pulling an open trailer...

The hardest ground is along the fence line to the left when you pull in. You can set up anywhere. It gets softer the closer you get to the dunes.

Thanks and will do !
Weather looks to be mid to high 60's , perfect conditions !
Been over there years ago on Memorial Weekend and saw rain, snow , hail and sunshine all in 2 hours !
Hopefully will catch some flyovers ! At least back in the late 80's early 90's at least 2-3 times a day we'd see some flyovers , one year we drove a little further East on 50 and parked off the road and watched at the time that was one of their fly zones.
Not sure how much they do these days out of the Fallon AF base ???
A little tidbit : in the movie Top Gun they flew over Sand Mountain twice...
