View Full Version : Just installed the XPT clutch bandage

well I put these little shims in to try and make the clutch last a little longer, I have 213 miles so far. We will see what happens :confused:

I want to put some of these in mine but going to wait till the dealer checks it out !! I have around 800 miles on it and the clutch is hanging up when I stop sometimes !!

Oh man that sucks, from reading diffrent posts it might have deep grooves and the plastic slider thingys could be toast

That Shim Idea is pretty neat

Guess it is prolly a temporary fix

I have 2 sets of the shims and Florence yam replaced primary with new[emoji1303]. went with stm

Yeah I had same problem with STM on Z 1 engine , honestly think it is a waste of money to buy those clutches . They are way to overpriced....IMO
But they look good . LOL

I put new plastic slides and the shims on my 4 seater, have 350 miles on it and already had wear marks on primary, so hopefully these shims save the day.
