At first I didn't think it was a great idea... Until I used it!!
Man,I can't believe I went so long without one..
I bought a cheap China made one of EBAY for $29 and it came complete with everything,7"screen,Camera and mounting hardware!
I installed it high under my roof and it works great.
I installed the screen with four screws to the center compartment door, and the door is still completely functional!
money well spent.

I'm going to have to look into one of them. I sure would make it easier to back up on the trails.

Funny :) - just bought the same kit for our 800s. Thought I would try it to see if it would work as a rear view mirror alternative. I haven't installed it yet, not quite sure where to mount the screen so its not in the way...

Not yet, I don't think I will. It's only fir backing up, so it will pretty dirty before I even consider cleaning it.

The only problem I've had so far is the buttons on the screen (monitor) get sand in behind them and no longer work right. I suggest putting tape over the buttons to keep stuff out and still be able to use them.

Could one of them one gallon zip lock bags be modified to keep most sand out and still see scren?

You probably could.. I think even the best install for that idea will still result in poor visibility of your screen. Just by virtue of how the screen is made it should be moisture resistant. Since this monitor is only for rearview the buttons are kind of useless. Other then power on and off I've never used the other buttons.

This may be the answer to my sore neck...I have a rearview and 2 side mirrors, but twisting the head to backup sucks. This idea is perfect for me!
