We probably would like to go for a ride , but with all the snow you aren't going to go very far at Chappie !!

Snow is fun but there is so much there you can't go very far !! Maybe Fenders Ferry would have snow and still be able to go some place !! I'll do some pre riding when the time gets close !!

Fenders Ferry Roads is about 35 mile east on 299 towards Burney , turn left on Fenders Ferry go on it for about 8 miles ( part is gravel) and when you get near the bottom there is a split in the road (go right) and you will see us. If you would like there is a couple of people going from town , you could follow one of them out !!

We should have a great ride , weather forecast is for sun . I was hoping for some snow but the snow has been up around 4000' ft and with all the rain we have had it may have washed away what what was here at the lower elevation . GOOD news there isn't going to be any dust !!

Yeah, just keep rubbing it in, lol, the last time that I was there, it was dusty. Been looking foreword to going back to as the other trails you were telling me about. I didn't think there would be any rides for a couple of week.. Lol post lots of pics

I have been there a couple of times dirt bike riding but I'm not familiar with the trails enough to lead a ride. The trails that I saw were great. Maybe someone who is can chime in.

I went once before, it gets really crowded there, lots of accidents, there's a riding area around Clear Lake , I think it's call Cow Mountain, would be nice to check out some time. I also here good things about Hollister Hills.

I heard Hollister has a motorcycle/Atv area , and a whole separate 4x4 area that is for bigger vehicle and UTV's.

When I had my RZR there we came out of a creek started up a hill made a sharp right turn and there was rock wall about 3 feet high , they told me about it so I was prepared for it , got over that ok , then it was large boulders for about 100 yards still climbing a hill in the trees , it was intense

Yes, that's still there. Its okay if you want to do something different. I've been there a couple of times in my Jeep. Nothing to wright home about.

There is also Cow Mountain just on the west side of Lakeport. Not a bad area to ride. Nice staging area to unload at Scotts creek.

Both of those sounds like good place to go, Mike. I'm definitely interested in checking out some trails that I haven't been to before.
